M/s.Mehta & Co solicitors spanning 3 generations assigned us this project to create the perfect ambience coupled with utility for their establishment. The project entailed creation of space to house a generation of old library enshrined in a modern ambience of serving jurisprudence.

BLENDING CLASSIC AND MODERN AMBIENCE

In the realm of interior design the concept of using traditional practices with innovative ideas of modern technology involves great synchronization and adaptability. The age old legal practice coupled with modern developing techniques offered us immense opportunity to create an apt atmosphere to foster trust and comfort. Let’s delve in to different areas of its space in number 05.

Entrance Office

The entrance to the office is bright and filled with earthy tones. Veneer wall panels with rippled cleaves on the walls demonstrate a clean and crispy gateway to the solicitors office christened as “Mehta’s Co”.

Our Origami chairs are placed in the waiting lounge along with handcrafted fluted table with brass.

Conference room houses

The conference room houses burnt walk wooden herring bone flooring with the teakwood conference table creating a cozy and warm ambience. Further the color accent used in the space is sage having detailed art work in gold to promote a perfect blend of color and vibrancy. Also we have installed customized equipment from Karban which serve as a fan, a purifier and accent light too.

Each personal office has handcrafted furniture made to perfection with cane accents and veneer with matte polish which makes this space look subtle, warm and becoming. This room has rippled desk with brushed brass detailing, the book shelf takes care of the impressive collection of artifacts through Adv. Anunaya Mehta’s travels and journals collected by him. Every room has a window which oversee the lush greens of the green park area in New Delhi.

Sleek aluminum and glass partitions maintain the visual expanse to this space. Wooden furniture and jute upholstery which would be more a home in a stylish residence rather than a workspace get their due within a shelI delineated by textured walls and ceiling.

This room is haven of comfort and sophistication, where every detail has been carefully curated to create an environment that inspires creativity, productivity and success the walls are adorned with artwork and Italian marble cladding adding a touch of personality and refinement.
We at Gunpreet kaur designs as a team delivered this project within 3 months with all custom-made furniture and finishes, We have used natural materials like wooden veneer finishes and teak wood structures peppered with brushed brass details. On walls we have used wallpapers by D.Decor and paint by Asian paints. All the partitions were provided by Green Windows with double wall glass which helped in making the cabins sound proof. Glass wool was installed in between the wooden structures which made the walls sound proof and fire resistant.

An overall view of the whole project manifests an informidable challenge of blending the traditional needs of archaic practice with modern innovative architecture. A whole team work of a dedicated spirited team found full exposure to showcase its talent of transformation of a traditional office into a modern state of art interiors.
